Joel Kaplan, President, CEO and Co-Founder

A 40-year veteran of the technology and financial services industries, Mr. Kaplan is widely recognized as a leader in the use of technology on Wall Street. Before co-founding 1010data, Mr. Kaplan was Managing Director and head of research and technology for all non-equity trading at UBS North America. Previously, Mr. Kaplan was Managing Director and head of Global Fixed Income Research and Technology at Morgan Stanley and was responsible for that firm's widely recognized technological superiority. Earlier at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Kaplan led the Analytical Proprietary Trading Group (APTG), renowned for being the first to employ scientific methodologies to uncover and exploit inefficiencies in the stock market. Under his leadership, the APTG traded as much as two percent of the New York Stock Exchange's daily volume because of the high degree of real-time automation it provided. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kaplan spent eight years at IBM, where he was responsible for research, systems engineering and front-office analytics systems.

Sandy Steier, Vice President and Co-Founder

With more than a quarter century of industry experience, Mr. Steier is recognized as an innovator behind the adoption of advanced analytic technologies by financial services institutions. Before co-founding 1010data, Mr. Steier was a Vice President and manager of research and technology at UBS North America, where he supported several trading desks and contributed significantly to the evolution of the firm into a leader in the use of advanced technologies. Previously, as Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, Mr. Steier led the effort to migrate mortgage-backed securities analytical programming from mainframes to workstations. Earlier in his career, while a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Steier was responsible for product development and analysis of fixed-income securities. He pioneered the research and development of many complex financial instruments and designed and implemented the software required to analyze them.

David Frankel, Vice President

As the Vice President at 1010data, Mr. Frankel draws on his deep insight and breadth of experience across vertical industries to ensure the success of large-scale 1010data implementations. Frankel is involved in all aspects of the company, including product development, operations and business development.

Greg Munves, Vice President

Mr. Munves is at the forefront of 1010data's success in the financial services industry, including its more than 100 mortgage and asset-backed securities focused customers. Along with leading the capital markets business, Mr. Munves is focused on building and implementing firm-wide growth strategies. In addition, Mr. Munves leads 1010data's strategic marketing and corporate communications efforts, and holds the key role in the operational functions and financial management of the company.

Jim Mattecheck, Vice President, Retail Solutions Group

With a 25-year history of driving the performance and sales of enterprise and retail software companies, Mr. Mattecheck recently joined 1010data as the director of retail services. As a senior vice president and general manager at SAP, Mr. Mattecheck was instrumental in helping the company enter the retail market, working closely with retailers during go-live projects on the SAP platform. As the leader of a retail-focused group at Oracle, Mr. Mattecheck facilitated the introduction of an "architected best-in-class" solution for the retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries. In just three years, his leadership helped grow the business by more than 500 percent, allowing the group to capture 60 new global customers.
